Don't think Skimboarding is growing? Think again... No more than a few years ago Cabo was the only well known skimboarding destination in Mexico. Since then we've been able to travel to Melaque and have had our Mexican distributor tell stories of Cabo-Quality (skim vocab 101) waves all throughout central Mexico.

This week, chickmagnet and skimboard stud alike, Harley Nelson is joining Mr. Paulo Prietto and his Solag Skim School to put on a camp for locals of Acapulco, Mexico. The owner of local Punto Muerto Surf Shop along with the help of our distributor, Luis Uribe have put together a skim contest and a camp for locals to participate in and further develop their skills. Who better to learn from than the smoothest, most fearless skimboarder we know?

We wish a great time to all that participate and thanks to Leo of Punto Muerto for his stoke on skimboarding, and thanks to Luis for his time in helping to organize and spread skimboarding throughout Mexico.
