Exile’s New NT™ Finish

Brand new for 2014, Exile is pleased to announce an addition to the available finishes on our Epoxy line of boards. The NT™ finish combines the strength, durability, and lightness of our classic textured finish with improved cosmetics for impressive looks with no compromise in strength. This finish is especially impressive on our Double Carbon Fiber Epoxy line of boards where you’ll notice much less carbon along the rails, and much more vibrant colors. This finish is smoother than our classic textured finish, but still provides similar strength a durability!  Looks better, still performs!  What’s not to love!?

While we still recommend doing a little sanding prior to traction application the traction pads should adhere better overall. Check out the photos of the boards below to see the results for yourself!

*Logos on the NT™ Finish are not as “protected” as they are on other finishes. Exile does not recommend using any types of chemicals, such as wax remover or acetone, over the logos as this could potentially damage them.

Love my Exile but I agree the Double Carbon shows through the paint

That's one of the main benefits of the new NT Finish David Baden. With the NT finish the double carbon is covered up so the board looks clean, but is still packed full of carbon (which is the most important thing!). Look at the pics to see what I mean.

So do the logos come off then? Like overtime?

No. I have had mine for a few years now. The logo hasn't even faded.
