Shipping and Returns

Shipping & Delivery

In stock products will ordinarilly ship within two business days of your order.  Well, ordinarilly one business day, but we will say two just to be safe.

This excludes any custom products such as custom skimboards or custom wetsuits, which each have their own approximate build times which are posted on the product order pages.  It also excludes any items which are marked as out of stock or are mistakenly marked as in stock, in which case will will notify you of the error in a timely manner.  If you have questions about delivery time, please contact us by phone or email and we can answer any questions you might have.

Shipping is by the best method available which varies based on destination and the level of shipping service ordered.  We ordinarilly use USPS for smaller items and FedEx for larger items, but there are exceptions to that rule, especially on international orders.

Free shipping offers apply only to shipping within the United States (all 50 states).  If you are eligible there will be a free shipping option displayed for you during checkout.  You must choose the free shipping option during checkout in order to receive it.  If you don't, you will be billed for the shipping method you chose automatically.

International shipping quotes are approximations.  Customers will be responsible for the actual shipping costs to international destinations, and we will confirm any changes to the shipping rates with you prior to shipping your order and billing your card.

Returns & Replacements

Global Return Policy - If you find your product to be unacceptable for any reason, it is refundable within seven days.  Should you decide to return your product, you must contact us and attain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) within seven days of receipt of your order.  After you attain your RMA you must ship the product back to Exile Skimboards using original or superior packaging, and full insurance, at your own cost.  Should you fail to ensure your shipment, your return may be rejected if the product is damaged in any way upon return.  Upon receiving the product back in new and undamaged condition, Exile will refund the purchase price.  Shipping costs paid are not refundable. 

Damaged Product Return Policy - In the case of a product arriving damaged, we will replace or refund the cost of the product providing you contact us within seven days of receiving the order to obtain a RMA.  Upon obtaining the RMA  you will need to repackage the product using the original packaging and we will send a carrier to pick up the product (US Orders).  Exile Skimboards are handmade and as such significant cosmetic variations are possible between different boards.  Photos of non-custom boards are of the actual board being sold.  Custom board orders are a little less certain, but we still do our best to make everything right.  We do not guarantee cosmetic perfection, but we do have a warranty policy regarding defects in materials and workmanship, which may be found on the main page of the exile site.
