Colt Ettwein Drops His New Mini Movie

At just 16 years old, Colt Ettwein is already turning heads on the professional skimboarding scene.

Originally from Ocean Ridge, Florida, and now based in Laguna Beach, California, Colt officially earned his pro status earlier this year with a 7th-place finish at El Rey de Lovers in Cabo San Lucas. It was a strong result for one of the sport's fastest-rising young riders.

Now, Colt is back with his first major video release, a mini movie packed with everything that defines his riding. From technical siders and stylish tech to smooth wraps and heavy barrels, the edit showcases the clean, creative approach that's become his trademark.

Filmed in Laguna Beach and Cabo San Lucas, the mini movie is set to Nirvana's In Bloom, a song that was released nearly two decades before Colt was even born. It's a fitting contrast for a rider whose style feels mature well beyond his age.
