Note that the schedule is tentative as we move the professional divisions depending on conditions, but we do our best to stay true to the tentative schedule. Please be aware of this and stay up to date checking the live heats contest page above. Announcements will be made at the beach over the microphone as well. The best way to make sure you don't miss your heat is to plan on being on the beach for the entire event.

20 years of Oktoberfest! 2025 is set to be one to remember. 2024 was off the rocker.

This is a publicly-open competition welcoming competitors of any age, sex, size, you name it!

WHEN
Saturday September 27th, Sunday September 28th, 2025. It is your job to stay on top of the schedule as we often adjust times and information depending on conditions and when the Mens/Womens Professional divisions want to run. We will do our best to update on Live Heats. Heats are expected to begin at 8:00am. Competitors should sign in at 7:45am.

WHERE

WHO
There are divisions for literally everyone, AM or Pro. Anyone that does not compete on the Pro level is considered an AM, and there is no qualifying for the AM division. Men and Women are welcome to enter the Semi-Pro division Spectators are welcome to attend at no cost, just be sure to stay clear of the competition area while heats are running.

HOW TO WATCH? Cruise down to the A Street Pier! We are currently working on getting a live stream in the works as well.

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU ARRIVE
All competitors must check in at the EZUP tent starting at 7:45am to sign a release form, and receive your contest tee.

HOW TO ENTER - Entries are currently closed for the 20th Annual Oktoberfest
Choose your division, sign the liability waiver and pay for your entry! Note that the Semi-Pro division is open to all amateur competitors, and amateur riders are welcome to enter their age division as well as the Semi-Pro division. There may be a cutoff of competitors allowed for Semi-Pro depending on how many total competitors we have enter. Solely so we are able to run the contest smoothly in the short 2 days we have. All entries must be made no later than Thursday, September 25th at 11:59pm PST.
