B Team Hits Cabo
Oct 07, 2015
The self-dubbed 'B-Team' hit up Cabo this summer, on what is now referred to as the "trip of trips". The crew led by Exile co-founder, Andy Chiavetta, found themselves in fun waves for a week of sun and good times. If you're interested in going down to Cabo, hit us up, we are happy to recommend places to stay, and a game plan to get you the best shot at waves and an enjoyable time.
Harley Nelson and Will Wright wrapped up the talent portion of the trips as far as skimboarding went, with Steve Taylor and Shane Scott, doing their best impersonations of skim boarders. Les Morales held down the camera for a majority of the trip, but also had his fair share of waves.
The goal of the trip was to become closer friends, share some waves, have some cold ones, and laugh at ourselves. Blessed with a small South Swell, we woke up to Lover's Siders every day. The walk over the rocks became routine, though sketchy as it was, it was all apart of the journey. We had Lovers to ourselves until around 11am every day when Bullo, Eloy and the local crew would show up and teach us how to skim. Bullo is a legend. Nobody skims Lovers like Bullo. Nobody.
Around 1-2pm we would take a break for beers, and snacks, enjoying what local vendors on the beach had to offer. Cold Pacificos became a routine along with fresh Mangos. Life is good in Cabo. Here are the shots Les Morales (@lesmophoto) snapped during the trip. For more information on how to do Cabo right feel free to email us at steve@exileskimboards.com.
