We at Exile Skimboards are insanely stoked to introduce to you, the SkimFin ™ Ion. After over a year of research and development into surf-able skimboards Hank Snapp has fine tuned these machines with the help of World renowned surfers, and skim boarders that also surf at high levels to come up with the most epic skim/surf hybrid you will ever see. This is the first of two shapes we plan to launch this year!

So what is the SkimFin™? The SkimFin™ is constructed using Premium Epoxy Resin, High Density EPS Compression Core™ Technology, and your choice of Premium E-Glass Reinforcement or Carbon Fiber Reinforcement. They are all hand made right here in the USA, by the same great hands that have been building our Skimboards for the past 14 years.
Versatile is the perfect word to describe the SkimFin™. The Ion™ is based off of our World Renowned Hybrid Shape. Built with 2" foam, and tapered down perfectly in the rails, nose and tail, the Ion™ is going to change the game of surfing, along with it's sister shape we plan to announce shortly.
Working as a surfboard, wakesurf, and even a skimboard in conditions that allow for a deep water drop, it truly does it all. Our team riders and friends have been skimming straight onto the sider at 10th Street with our Prototypes, with great success. Questions about anything from sizing to options?
