Construction

Here at Exile Skimboards we are constantly striving to meet the needs of all skimboarders world wide. While we pride ourselves on building the best high performance skimboards on the planet, not everyone needs high performance and the price tag that comes along with it...

For years we worked to develop a solid entry level skimboard that is affordable yet still fully functional for beginner and intermediate riders.  After many trials and errors we refined a product worthy of our name, and your trust!

The EX0 is an economical E-Glass EPOXY constructed skimboard, with a clean, seam free rail line.

Thickness

3/4'' Tapered to 5/8'' thickness means that the center of the core is 3/4'' thick and thins out to 5/8'' (roughly) in the nose and tail. This creates added buoyancy while keeping the board maneuverable, just not quite as responsive as the 5/8''. This thickness is typically more ideal for slight below average to slightly above average wave height and strength.

Rocker

Our EX0 Model skimboards feature a slightly more significant nose rocker that transitions to a mostly flat board thereafter. This helps newer riders easily transition from wet sand to water, while being able to easily maintain speed.

Finish

Showroom Finish. Slightly heavier and less durable than the other finish options. Requires no prep work for traction application.

Shipping & Delivery

In-stock products will ordinarily ship within 2-4 business days of your order. Please be aware of the fact that we are not amazon, and are a very small company trying our best to get boards in to peoples hands as fast as possible. Allow a large cushion of time if there are any upcoming trips or deadlines, and reach out to us immediately if something needs to be expedited!

This excludes any custom products such as custom skimboards or custom wetsuits, which each have their own approximate build times which are posted on the product order pages. It also excludes any items which are marked as out of stock or are mistakenly marked as in stock, in which case we will notify you of the error in a timely manner. If you have questions about delivery time, please contact us by phone or email and we can answer any questions you might have.

Shipping is by the best method available which varies based on destination and the level of shipping service ordered. We ordinarilly use USPS for smaller items and FedEx for larger items, but there are exceptions to that rule, especially on international orders.

Free shipping offers apply only to shipping within the Continuous United States (excludes Hawaii and Alaska). use the promo code FREESINCE2010 at checkout on orders over $325 to take advantage of this offer. If you don't, you will be billed for the shipping method you chose automatically.

International shipping quotes and transit times are approximations, and actual transit times may be longer than shown at checkout. Additionally Customs in each individual country can vary on how long they take to clear a shipment. Sometimes this process can be fast, other times it can take longer. We recommend contacting your countries customs office prior to purchase to see about any additional taxes or fees. Customers will be responsible for the actual shipping costs to international destinations, and we will confirm any changes to the shipping rates with you prior to shipping your order and billing your card.

If you have any special needs or concerns about shipping, please let us know in the comments field of your order and we will get it taken care of, and contact you if we have any questions about it. We are here to make you happy.

*Weight limits are subject to riders ability, skill level, and skimboarding conditions. These are simply general and helpful guidelines. More advanced riders may prefer smaller sizes, while beginners may prefer larger sizes.
